Alhamdulillah, the ceremony went perfectly, thanks to my family in laws, especially Azmir's mom who slept at 4 a.m. to make sure everything is all set and done. I was a bit exhilarated since Kedahans rarely do all these things, selalu they just buat makan2, takde naik buai etc. Thankfully, Little Anis behaved so well through out the ceremony. That’s my girl. :)

The night before the majlis, Azmir's mom asked me to decorate (What???) the buaian using the cloths, flowers and ribbons that she reserved from our wedding last year. Nak cakap tak nak, kang kena cop menantu derhaka pulak.

So i did, and here how it looked like (after much effort and pain)....

Boleh la kan, considering i did that with my mak mertua looking and scrutinizing from afar while she's packing some kuih muih for the guests...

Huh, debar weh!

New me

Little Anis dah tido, so boleh la mama blogging jap...

Yesterday was my first day at work after the loooong leave. I must say, being away from the office for that long period of time (3 months) made me feel a bit obscure. Tengok spreadsheet pun mcm confuse sket, pegang mouse pun dah kekok (okay, yang ni exaggerate sket la). Luckily Neni was not around, so I was not bombarded with urgent-and-i-need-it-today tasks. Tapi awal2 lagi dia dah hantar sms suruh tolong Nirman with something, and she wanna see the result when she come back from her holiday....Well, i owe her this one la, sebab she let me take MC for almost one month masa sebelum bersalin ari tu...

And as expected, I received few uninvited comments on my post natal body. Though most of the comments are +ve, i still feel fat and saggy here and there...
B tried to be supportive, giving me the "tak ape" look everytime I complain.

Owww..How sweet….. Tapi selagi I can't fit into all my kebayas, selagi tu la dia kena dengar me complaining and whining. Sabo je la ye....

On different note, my office had this quarterly “Staff Conversation” event last Wednesday. As usual, one of the agenda was a montage presentation, and this time around the montage includes a snapshot of the staffs’ newborn babies in 2007.

Ern had sent me an sms a week before, requesting a pic of MOM AND BABY (Keep in mind that I read the message 5 times okay). Not to be “indifferent”, I mmsed her the pic (shown below) so she can put into the montage along with the other mom-and-babies pictures.




I didn’t get the chance to see the montage as I was still on my maternity leave. However, on that day I received sms from Azni saying : “dalam montage newborns ni, ko sorang je mak yang enterframe, that’s soooo you, hahaha”

Yeap, you guessed it right. As it turned out, I was the only one who sent pic of MOM AND BABY, orang lain hantar gambar baby diorang je….

Tak pasal2 kena cop gila-glamour.

But surprisingly, I didn’t regret it at all…. Would I do the same if I had known earlier? Well, let’s just put it this way…OF COURSE!:)
